In the name of Allah, besides whom there is no god, Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, the All-Merciful, the Ever-Merciful. O Allah, remove from me worry, grief and sorrow.

After the Maghrib prayer, passing the hand over the forehead, three times (Imam al-Sadiq (a)).

O Allah, I ask You by the right of Muhammad and the family of Muhammad upon You: bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, and place light in my sight, insight in my religion, certainty in my heart, sincerity in my deeds, soundness in my self, abundance in my provision, and gratitude to You forever, as long as You keep me alive.

After the Fajr and Maghrib prayers. Taught by Imam al-Sadiq (a) as a supplication for this world and the hereafter and for relief of eye pain. Also in Mafatih al-Jinan (ta'qibat of Fajr).

O Allah, I ask You, at the approach of Your night, the departure of Your day, the arrival of Your prayers and the voices of those calling upon You, to bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad.

Imam al-Sadiq (a): say this when evening comes, then ask for whatever you wish.

I entrust myself and all whose affairs concern me to Allah, the High, the Most High, the Majestic, the Magnificent. I entrust myself to Allah, the Awe-inspiring, the One who is feared, before whose greatness all things are humbled.

Three times in the evening. Imam al-Sadiq (a): whoever says it is enfolded by one of the wings of Jibril until morning.

Aṣbaḥnā lillāhi shākirīna wa amsaynā lillāhi ḥāmidīn, fa-lakal-ḥamdu kamā amsaynā laka muslimīna sālimīn.

We spent the morning grateful to Allah and have entered the evening praising Allah; so Yours is the praise, as we have entered the evening submitting to You, safe and sound.

Imam Ali (a) used to say this in the evening; its morning form is a separate item.

Raḍītu billāhi rabban, wa bil-islāmi dīnan, wa bi-Muḥammadin ṣallallāhu ʿalayhi wa ālihī nabiyyan, wa bil-qurʾāni balāghan, wa bi-ʿAliyyin imāmā.

I am pleased with Allah as Lord, with Islam as religion, with Muhammad—may Allah bless him and his family—as Prophet, with the Qur'an as the conveyed message, and with Ali as Imam.

Three times in the morning and three times in the evening. Narrated from Imam Ali (a): it becomes a right upon Allah to please the one who says it on the Day of Resurrection.

سُبْحَانَ الله وَالْحَمْدُ لله وَلا إِلَهَ إِلا الله وَالله أَكْبَرُ

Subḥānallāhi wal-ḥamdu lillāhi wa lā ilāha illallāhu wallāhu akbar.

Glory be to Allah, praise be to Allah, there is no god but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest.

Say it in the morning and in the evening. The Prophet (s): for each glorification ten trees of Paradise are planted for you; these are among 'the enduring good deeds'. Mafatih al-Jinan recommends it ten times each morning and evening.

Allāhu lā ilāha illā huwal-ḥayyul-qayyūm. Lā taʾkhudhuhū sinatun wa lā nawm. Lahū mā fis-samāwāti wa mā fil-arḍ. Man dhal-ladhī yashfaʿu ʿindahū illā bi-idhnih. Allah—there is no god but He, the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting. Neither drowsiness nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who could intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them, and they encompass nothing of His knowledge except what He wills. His Seat extends over the heavens and the earth, and preserving them does not weary Him. He is the Most High, the Magnificent.
